The Hindu Cultural & Community Network (HCCN) partnered with Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) to host a special Taste of Harmony event at the Nunawading Fire Station. The initiative brought community members and firefighters together to share food, stories and cultural experiences in a spirit of friendship and mutual appreciation.

HCCN members prepared and shared homemade meals with FRV firefighters, creating an opportunity for meaningful interaction and cultural exchange. The event celebrated the diversity of the community while recognising the dedication and service of firefighters who work tirelessly to protect the community.

Taste of Harmony highlighted the power of food to bring people together, strengthen relationships and build understanding between communities and emergency services. The event reflected HCCN’s commitment to fostering community connection, cultural sharing and appreciation for those who serve the public.
